At Building Cleaning Services P/L, we take workplace health and safety seriously. Our staff and cleaners are trained to meet all relevant legislation and risk controls across every commercial and office cleaning site we manage in Greater Sydney.
Health & Safety Training and Induction
All BCS personnel are trained in accordance with Quality, WH&S, and Environmental legislation. Cleaners receive induction training specific to your site and general compliance requirements. Our operations team uses a detailed checklist during onboarding to ensure:
- All WH&S policies and procedures are explained clearly
- Cleaners understand site-specific requirements and risks
- Work is conducted safely and professionally from day one
This induction is completed during onsite training and verified by both the cleaner and the training officer.
Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)
We provide a full Work-Safe Method Statement as part of our Cleaning Proposal, including:
- Certificate of Insurance for Workers Compensation
- Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance
- Summary of our WH&S Policy

Our cleaners are trained in the proper handling of cleaning products, emergency procedures, and risk management practices in office environments.
Insurances and Legal Compliance
Workers Compensation Insurance
BCS is fully compliant with the NSW WorkCover Scheme and Workers Compensation Act 1987. We are insured with QBE Workers Compensation (NSW) Ltd, covering the full amount of employer liability.
Public Liability Insurance
We hold $20 million in Public Liability Insurance, suitable to the nature and location of our work across Sydney.

Every new client is introduced to our processes through a detailed site orientation led by our Operations Manager and Training Officer. Your assigned cleaner is personally guided through your specific site, ensuring they fully understand your expectations and safety requirements before beginning work.
